Hi and welcome to the College of Conscious Living!
I am so honored to be able to provide holistic services to help you and others like you, in a quest for better health and well being.
Healing, as we know, is different for everyone!
For some its a gentle and straight forward process and for others it can be a complicated and challenging journey. Even the healing modalities required to benefit ones health, can differ from person to person.
As a qualified Naturopath, educator and holistic therapist, I have 20 years of hands on experience living and breathing a holistic and creative life style. I specialize in female health, lifestyle coaching and teaching the diploma of holistic integrative creative arts therapy (HICAT) course.
In my early 20’s I pursued an interest in nursing. I quickly came to see that wasn’t for me and I knew I wanted to be in a holistic environment to help people improve their mental, physical and spiritual well being.
After this experience, my journey took me into a life of natural therapies and medicine. I became a qualified and successful Naturopath, energetic healer, massage therapist and meditation & holistic lifestyle coach.
I have worked with families, children and communities in healing emotional issues, encouraging self expression and educating individuals on self care.
I love teaching this diploma as I am a huge advocate of its benefits and am passionate about assisting others in discovering their own truths; feeling more at peace with who they are.
Qualifications:
Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy, with honours;
Diploma in Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy (HICAT);

Certificate in Chair Yoga Instruction;
Certificate in holistic counselling.
My name is Tania Barton, I call the Sunshine Coast my home and I am a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt and a friend.
Whilst I am passionate about the content of the Holistic Integrated Creative Art Therapist course, I can honestly say, that I am an advocate for the personal and professional growth and development that this course provides.
The HICAT course has lit my soul on fire…helping me get in tune with my creative side again, so much, that I just don’t want the HICAT learning journey to end. Therefore, I am absolutely thrilled to be able to teach this course to people from all walks of life and assist them with their journey.
My health, took a sudden, bad turn in January 2020, when I suffered a complete mental and physical breakdown. Throughout the next 12 months, I learnt so much content around mental health, from a clinical and holistic perspective, but would never have guessed how much the connection between creativity and optimal mental health would impact my life.
I have had the honour of attending many different healing retreats and workshops over the last 6 years and have always followed a creative, holistic, spirited lifestyle. I did realize that my drive to work, to avoid life itself, forced my soul to shut down and therefore didn't live my life to my best. I am forever grateful now, as I feel I needed this fall to see my true worth and purpose in life.
One year later, after a lot of hard work and dedication to myself, I am not just a wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. I am proudly spirited, adventurous, creative, caring, generous, sincere, encouraging and enthusiastic and I have a passion for all living creatures. I now have the ability to know who I truly am.
I believe that all students will be learning at a different pace, therefore respect that each student deserves the opportunity to learn in a caring, non-judgmental, safe environment, letting curiosity direct their learning, and I will gently share my skills and knowledge whilst encouraging interaction and participation in theory and hands-on activities.
I'm looking forward the HICAT journey with you, continuing to assist in the personal growth and healing of not only myself and students, but my clients, family, friends and peers.
